The Tree

Ever wanted to hold someone so tight you can some how become one with them?

Ever feel a penetrating connection just by looking into someones eyes?

A desire so strong that the heat of your body elevates by the presence of that person,

Your heart feels tighter and your breath deeper?

 

Ever felt a soul connection with someone that travels much deeper then a sexual desire?

I've felt this with my children, a friend, family, a sweet little old lady, a homeless person with a face 

of hopelessness and despair and I have felt this with my lover.

It is a desire to become so close to someone they can feel your heartbeat as if it was theirs.

This feeling, I believe, is the awareness that awakens in us when we are not afraid to feel, to open the door of our heart, when we realize that we are all connected. We are all part of His beautiful creation. 

"I am the vine, you are the branches" 

We are all part of the tree that houses this need, this feeling of love that lives in us and through us. A desire that is only satisfied by holding that person really tight in your arms they can feel your heart beat and this way letting them know that you are aware that they too are a part of you.

The Light

Circumstances and people will try to dim your light.

Do not be fooled.

They will try to take it away and have you linger in darkness so that the world can not see you and that which you illuminate with your light. 

"Without light, there would be no sight.  

We make our presence visibly known by reflecting light to the eyes of those who look our way. " (Physics Classroom)

Without light the world losses its orbit,

Flowers begin to wither,

Life begins to fade. 

In darkness there is death of the soul and of the human spirit. 

Within each and everyone of us lies the power to reflect light. 

This light attracts light through its energy and momentum. 

It is the light of the soul, The light of the spirit

and that light that reflects love,  that also illuminates the world. 

Don't let anyone or anything take this which lives within you!

This is what God the LORD says - He Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, Who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: 'I, the LORD , have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. I am the LORD ; that is My name!  Isaiah 42:5-9

The Warrior

Silence is a way of healing not a way of forgetting. 

Smiling is a way to move on.

A way of inspiring oneself in-spite of the internal struggles. 

A way to try to control those uncontrollable emotions 

that break us or help us become the warriors we are intended to be.
