Am I just a dreamer?

DREAM-er: a person whose ideas or projects are considered audacious or highly speculative; visionary. An idealist. A habitually impractical person.
-A visionary; one lost in wild imaginations or vain schemes of some anticipated good; as a political dreamer.

-Idealist: a person who cherishes or pursues high or noble principles, purpose, goals, etc. A visionary or impractical person. A person who represents things as they might or should be rather than as they are. A writer or artist who treats subjects imaginatively. A person who accepts the doctrines of idealism. A Dreamer is someone who...

Can see beyond "what is" to "what can be"...
Has the creativity and courage to try new things and overcome obstacles...
Makes a difference in their own life and the lives of others...
Can believe and do and think their ideas into reality. by Unknown

So my best friend called me a Dreamer and at first I was upset. I thought, a Dreamer? Like lala land, someone that is clueless about life and has no sense of reality. But then I realized that it is not the description of self that I fit into, Yet, a dreamer I am. So I decided to define Dreamer. To find those that where known as dreamers and the type of life they lived. I was sure to find nothing short of ordinary. Dreamer or Dreamers are far greater than the simplicity of being far captured from reality. We are people of greatness.
William Shakespeare, Leonardo Da Vinci,Jose Marti, Amelia, MLK, Ludwig van Beethoven to name a few.
Many taught at some point in time that these great people where crazy dreamers, eccentric. But I rather be called crazy if it means I can innovate, renovate and create new things, things beyond the expectation of the ordinary.
