Who are you, really?

Are you the cloth that you wear,
The house that you live in, or
The car that you drive?
Do you live to satisfy the expectations of others?

Are you like the male butterfly that clings himself to a blown up poster board picture of a female butterfly, while the real, beautiful and colorful one is behind him flapping her radiant wings?

Don’t be preoccupied with the sham!

In the words of Dorothy Sayer, ’Everything we do here should be rightly related to what we eternally are.’

So what or who are you, really?

You must loose yourself to the things of this world in order to attain the heavenly; righteousness & humility. For those are the things that we are ultimately designed for.
