  2. 1 Corinthians 13..........Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

I cannot explain love better than this.

Love looks like my mom who is, besides God, the only example of unconditional love. Love looks like my husband's hands that work tiressly and so hard to provide for me and my children and then those same hands that hold me, comfort me and love me. Love looks like the first time I held my children and became a mom and felt the strongest sense of love I've evr known, Love looks like my friends, who raise money for St. Jude, and collect blankets for the homeless, and walk in marathons to raise awareness for causes. Love looks like the last days spent with my grandfather before his passing, Love looks like the single mother who works endlessly and suffers the undescribable in order for her kids to succeed. Love looks like our Soldiers as they leave their families, their home, their children to fight for our Country and for our freedom. Love looks like Mary the birth mother of Jesus watching as her Son is crucified. Love loks like Jesus on a cross giving His life for Our Eternal Salvation.

Thank you Ivis for inspiring me to take the time to see all the love I have around me and to appeciate that this love is only but a Gift and a Grace given by God. Love is beautiful and sad and inspiring and uplifting and dangerous and hurtful but I believe that love is what we live for.

  3. Anais: You are right, Jesus is love but we can not see Jesus, we feel Him. How do you see His love? He is Love to you. How does He reflect the Love in things that you can see?

Emi: Love your post. Love is reflected in so many ways. To each of us love is different in intensity and in what we consider it tangible.

  5. But we can see Jesus. I see him every day. I see him on the drive to work in the glorious sunrise. I see Him in as He has helped us through many hardships. I see him in my parents as they have worked so hard to help me get where I am. I see him in James as he strives to reach his goals no matter what gets in the way, and I see Him at night when we have are one on one special talks.

Most importantly, I see Him when I speak to others about Him. Though sometimes many of those that I speak to about Him brush it right off, I see Him in their faces and that empowers me to keep on sharing because eventually they will see the light of Jesus Christ.

So I do feel AND see Him.
